Around Tepoztlán
Visit Tepozteco (the local ruins from the Tlahuica
culture), a 16th century Dominican ex-convent, the open-air market, and
neighboring small villages. Enjoy daily life in small-town México with the
pueblo's frequent fiestas and other cultural events.
One-day Excursions
Cuernavaca - Cosmopolitan city, site of the Palaces of both the
16th century Spanish conquistador Cortes and the 19th century Emperor
Maximilian.
Xochicalco - Toltec archeological site.
Cost of excursions range from $30 to $40 and includes transportation and a guided tour. It does not include lunch.
Other one-day excursions to the river and waterfalls at Las Estacas or the
museum dedicated to famed revolutionary figure Emiliano Zapata can be arranged.

Taxco & Grutas de Cachualmilpa
July 12-13 ($100 per person - 2 days/1 night)
Price includes: Motor coach transportation, lodging in a 4-star hotel
(loacated in the main square,) guided city tour, and guided tour of the
Grutas de Cachuamilpa. Taxco is known as the bustling silver center of
México. It is a breathtakingly beautiful town, built on the side
of a mountain.
